Originally established in 1888, W.D. Henry & Sons, Inc. is now operating under the management of its fourth and fifth generations, Mark, Dan and Dave Henry. Through hard work and perseverance, we have been able to continue our family farm tradition. Over the years, we have been grateful to receive numerous awards, including the New York State Century Farm Award, as well as the New York State Farm Family Award.
We are located just south of Buffalo, New York, in the Eden Valley region of Western New York. Our ancestors discovered that the rich soil in this valley is ideal for the production of fresh market vegetables.
Our business practices have evolved over the years to remain competitive in today’s marketplace.
We currently produce a variety of wholesale fresh market vegetables, including sweet corn, peppers, cucumbers, squashes, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower, all available during the summer and fall seasons. We strive to grow and pack a quality product.
Our wholesale greenhouse enterprise has greatly expanded over the last decade. The crops available for wholesale purchase through the greenhouses include holiday potted crops, such as lilies, mums, bulb crops and poinsettias. We offer a full line of spring bedding plants in various pack and pot sizes, as well as hanging baskets. We also grow, for wholesale use, various plugs and cuttings.
